Did you just hear Jon Gruden on Mike and Mike? He suggests this could be career-changing.

It makes sense.

Oh, there would be joy in the streets for some in Chicago if this happened. A lot of Bears fans are finished with Jay Cutler. To bad the Gruden brothers aren't the GM's of the respective teams. Just Gruden's opinion, that's all.

I wouldn't trade a bag of footballs for either of them.

I don't know how I feel about this trade. Yes we would be getting rid of jay cutler, but then we would be getting jay cutler 2.0.

Jake Locker has more leadership in his right pinkie toe than Cutler's whole body. He's played his last game for the Titans and still has some level of potential. Cutler could push Mettenberger real hard.

Is locker really a good leader or is he just a better leader than cutler? This is an honest question because I have no idea. Latrell Sprewell looks like a good leader compared to Jay Cutler.

He's a better leader than Cutler. Unfortunately for him, if he goes down one more time I think he's done in this league.

So, he really isn't a good leader, he's just better than cutler?

I think it is hard to tell on his leadership considering he has spent a great deal of his career on the IR. Hard to lead the team from the training room. If he could get healthy though he has shown some promise when healthy to lead a team.

Well good luck with that. It sounds like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic, times 2, to me.

Id been hoping for Hoyer.

But I could support Locker, with Hoyer backing him up. Same difference....

Ok, so this hasn't happened, something the thread title doesn't make clear.

But...if it did, it would be the further Jeff George-ification of Cutler's career. Why anyone would trade for this classic all-time loser and make him the face of another franchise is beyond me.

New face of the Titans?

Anybody could at this point... No?

Locker would be a good pickup for the Bears. In any event they need to rid themselves of Jay Cutler and soon.

I hate seeing him in that Bronco uniform. I would think at this point in his career that teams would realize he is the coach killer. Everywhere he goes coaches get fired and for the longest time it was the coaches fault that Cutler couldn't grow as a player but I would hope by now people realize he just could care less what a coach has to say and will do what he wants and continue to fail over and over again.

Locker is done. He can't stay healthy and he was never that good.

I see getting rid of Cutler, but not for an oft-injured C- QB like Locker.

No, No, No...it would hinder my Marriota to The Titans theory to distress Hammer every Sunday for half the year!
