I don't think so. He bombed pretty much every time he made an appearance on the big club.

He had pretty much mediocre-to-bad results most of his career (AAA & majors) with the exception of a few stints of brilliance (like 40+ IP in Sac last year, which is what got him promoted to SF where he pretty much sucked).

He looks like just the kind of pick up that they used to do and then come out of nowhere to be a dominant player in their bullpen. He made may trade bait about this time of year in about 5 years.

Definitely a good pickup for a team in full, 100% rebuild mode.

For the Giants, he was simply too far away to justify keeping on the 40.

of course. But Ra-Pe has no value. KT, I think, has a LOT of value.
