So DHB is starting to look light years ahead of where he's been the last coupld of years. Last 2 games: 11 catches & 214 yards.

Crabtree? Not so much. I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'.

You were a big fan of DHB going into the draft, year one he didn't help you out very much, this year, I agree with you, it is like night & day thus far. He looks sharp...

I actually said when he was drafted that I don't expect him to do anything his first couple of seasons 'cause he's EXTREMELY raw. He was one of the players I liked in the late 1st round. I was shocked, like everyone else, he went so high, but he's starting to put it together IMO.

Can anyone honestly say Carbtree looks better than DHB at this point?

Two games doesnt make DHB better in my eyes. Neither were worth there draft position thus far tho.

Yes; of course nobody's crowning the late Al Davis for that pick. He's had great games before & went on to do very little thereafter... DHB was one of the players for whom I would've loved if the Niners tried to trade this offseason since his stock was so low.

How many Oakland WRs have 'looked good' for a few weeks then disappeared? L Murphay? J Ford? Shillzens? D Moore? Oakland drafts speed, speed is hit and miss on week to week basis.

I wouldve been ok with trading for him. He is a stronger Ginn imo. A 5th would have been ok with me.

I think if Crabtree had been in a better situation the past 3 years he would be a lock for as 1000 WR. I dont love Crabtree but I think he is very talented with the right situation

My issue is that a top 10 pick should not be a guy that "is very talented in the right situation." He should be very talented in any situation.

I totally agree with you Imac. Crabtree hasnt earned his billing as the 10th pick here in SF. I know we have had this discussing before but with the way sing ran this team the only WRs I could see have 1k seasons the past few years here are Fitz and Calvin.

I really dont believe andre would. I am a huge Andre Johnson fan too. I say fitz and Calvin because they are leapers and can catch literaly anything throw near them.

How about neither? The best WR prospect that year was Kenny Britt, no matter how big of a dumbass he is.

Well yes, but this isn't DHB or Crabtree VS Kenny Britt revisited.

Also, I've never heard of anyone advocating the selection of Kenny Britt at 10 back then. Lots of players would've been better selections including Brian Orakpo. :)
