This season is all but over but it could be a blessing in disguise. Romo is older and injury prone and we might have a shot at a good QB in the top 5.

I said a couple of weeks ago that I'd rather have sat Romo the rest of the season and got him healthy for a real run this year. Hopefully Tony is ok, but after this beat down, there is absolutely no reason to play him again this season. Get him healthy, have another good draft, likely with a top 10 pick and last place schedule, and try and getRomo and Witten a Super Bowl before they are done

Romo looks like he broke the same collarbone for a third time. Even if he comes back, I am not sure he will be the same again if in fact he broke it again. Will need some luck for him to stay health. The man will be 36 next year and will have had three broken left collarbones and two back surgeries

I'd say there is a 0.00% chance we'd go QB with a top 5 pick. After taking off the rest of the season, Romo will be the starter next year, and Jerry isn't gonna pay a top 5 pick to sit on the bench. I think there is a great chance they go RB, as there are 2-3 outstanding RB's coming out, and I think the Cowboys are more likely to spend a 2nd or 3rd on a QB who would only play if Romo got hurt

On a random note, I wonder how different are these teams if the Cowboys picked Luke instead of Claiborne. Me and PDay were like the only people who wanted Cowboys to draft Luke.

The Cowboya offense wih Romo today was singlehandidly losing to the Panthers defense 17-6. At least with Cassel, it is 8-0. Hope Romo is OK. Definitely, not his year. Glad Jerrah had another sell out.
