Honestly can Snyder just die already so that Redskins fans can have some hope. I have a hard time seeing the light at the end of the tunnel with him & his lackey Allen being in charge. I realize that injuries are a concern, but I also just see such disinterest in the players and this reflects the organization as a whole - sigh.

you cant win football games when you turn it over as much as we did. The defense didn't show up in the 4th qtr. Too many injuries and the guys that have to make plays didn't. Crowder? KC played well. The scramble plays were unbelievable. Moses going down was a huge injury b/c the Dallas De's just abused Nske. Mansuky not calling run blitzes in the 4th qtr baffles me. When we cut it to 10 points and then Dallas just ran it down our throats was awful. When you know its coming and you cant stop it that's a huge problem.

true. the funny thing was we were stopping them in the 1st Qtr. The two Crowder gaffs put us in a hole. We should of had the lead in that game.

the issue is this , one of our d/lineman is playing with essentially one hand . hood is playing waaaay to many snaps and at NT lanier is a good rotational guy and needs more experience . he could have an ionman type jump next season

part is injuries and the subs arent at the level to try new schemes . what can you do with your 4th string ILB as far as being creative ? same at safety . it hurts when you dont have nich's range at FS

you have hood out of position , and a one armed DE and 2 fa's who arent getting it done

Adjustments. Probably some momentum from TOs too. Dallas has a very good Oline. They wore down the Skins not as good Dline. The holes were gigantic in the 2nd half. That's the part that eats at me the most. The physical butt whipping. Anyone old enough to remember the Skins of the 80s remembers how both our lines were pretty damned dominant. When have we last seen that? Long ass time.

The defense looks so bad because Allen was that good. He and then Ironman would collapse the pocket and hold their ground in the run game. Everything else went off of that.

Who is the one (or more) dominating force that we have on defense when everyone is healthy? What player has to be accounted for on the defensive side of the ball? Who set the example for all others to follow? What guy(s) can we count on to deliver when "that" play is needed in crunch time? Yeah I'd say that it's more than injuries.

I agree with you for the most part. However are you also basically stating that Manusky deserves none of the blame for this? It seems to me that he was getting a lot of credit when things were going well. Also - in the Saints game that appeared to more than simply just issues due to injuries. Do folks believe that was as well as that D could have played on that day particularly at the end of the game?

right now i would give him somewhat of a pass because he is in year one and the injuries . but its a short leash for sure

Fair enough but then you also have to look back & not give Manusky credit for some of those victories where people were singing his praises. In hindsight it appears that perhaps those were due to poor offense by the other team and/or some of the players (e.g. Allen) that you mentioned that are now injured. They appear to be more of the reason for the success or failure to the pt where perhaps coaching really doesn't mean that much.

BTW - forget injuries - I notice that Preston Smith is still playing undisciplined football & not staying in his lane so that he can freelance. This is really getting old. In hindsight Trent Murphy is probably much more valuable to this team than some folks realize.
