the same can be said about you. you know jack about what this team will look like. right now our defensive line is Selvie, Hayden, McClain and Mincey all 4 are nothing more than backups on 25-27 of the other teams in the league. but you still believe that JJ is going to somehow or other bring in a couple of stud FA's and is going to nail down things with a killer draft. how is he going to do that? by restructuring every player he hasn't already restructured or by convincing those stud FA's to take bread crumbs compared to what other teams can offer.

stop living in a dreamworld. maybe JJ finally sees things as they are and has a plan to, dare i say it, rebuild this team . now this might take a couple of years and fans might have to face a 4-12 or 5-11 season over those couple of years but that would be better than playing this endless game of restructuring contracts every year that buries us at the bottom of the league in cap space every year. even with the projected jumps we will still be at the bottom in reference to cap space next year.

You cannot say what the record will be RIGHT NOW. If it doesn't look like Jerry finds replacements I won't argue your negatively.

Is this team worse than they were last year as of right now? Sure they are!!!! Does that mean people should trip out? No!!!!! This isn't week one of the 14-15 season. If this was the roster starting week one then complain there is plenty of free agency left and not to mention the draft. As of now only thing you can say is that we have one hell of a schedule next year, other than that can't trip on the roster because it's only one week into the leagues new year.

I would think right now our starting 4 would be: Crawford, Hayden, Bass and Selvie. Not the Fearsome Foursome, but with a player or two mixed in and moving a couple of these guys to depth it could be good - I happen to be higher on Crawford and Bass than most. I think we sign/resign a "name" DL. Not sure who (best fit is Melton), but I think we will. Throw in a potential first round pick and we could be good. Heck, we could end up signing Melton and Spencer if no one trusts either's health enough to offer them big dollars and still draft someone in the first or second.

I agree.... Was gonna chime in but you beat me to it.

Though I think Hayden and Bass play the same position. So definately have to get a DT early in the draft

I couldnt believe everyone forgot Crawford ( Who I am real high on)

The best thing about him is I think he can play any position on the D-line. Which allows us to take a Defensive end or a DT depending on which is the best player avaliable

hell we don't even know if Romo is going to be ready opening day we could go into next season with Orton as our starter for the 1st 3-5 games

Interesting, you have Romo possibly missing regular season games while REPORTS are he'll be able to be a full participant in the off season program.

Also let's not forget Dallas still hasn't closed the book on Brent. I know there are plenty against this but you can't deny he may be back.

I believe ppl deserve second chances, but I don't see Brent as making an impact next year even if signed. Will take him at least a full year to get back to football shape and adjusted to the speed of NFL.

Nov argument but he would provide much needed depth.

Well if they havent closed the book...... I hope they leave it open toss it in a fireplace and watch it burn

If he wants a 2nd chance ... go somewhere else.

Once again .... No need for a circus show in Dallas

and personally .... I saw nothing from him no way ... without missing time

I think the kid had talent; but what will he be like after almost two years away from the game? How old is he? Time is not on his side, look at Plaxico Burress what happened with him, once in jail never the same, and Brent was no where near the talent Plax was when he went to jail.

You're correct again. We don't know what kind of player he is any longer. What we do know is Jerry loves the kid. He stood by him through his ordeal. Odds are he will sign for the minimum on a one year deal. If Brent is brought back it will be a very low risk move.

Of course we still don't know if the NFL will suspend him or not.

Gotta disagree with you on that one bruh

When it comes to getting free agents and resigning your own, players like an owner that stands behind them. And that's the only reason I think Jerry kept him on the roster. And for no other reason

Maybe, but Jerry did set him up with a warehouse job.
