Sandorn will be a fan favorite. Physically limited but smart and tough plus plays special teams

I wouldn't be surprised if Sanborn by the end of the year (or by the time Overshown is back whichever comes first) is playing more snaps than Murray. As a matter of fact I'm hoping for it.

Me too. I am thinking Jeanty won't be there at 12, but the board here enlightened me to check out others. And folks are right about Hampton etc and others being drafted in the second or other rounds. I still would like Dart in the second. That would light a fire under Dak's butt. He plays well next year ups his trade value. He drops his no trade, We trade him and move on with Dart.

I think with the Fowler move alone this FO surpassed what they did in FA last year. Very solid move . I like the LB from Chicago. I think he could start alongside luafioau. I don't get the trade for Murray. Cowboys may have got fleeced again

Solomon was a solid add. The lineman from Miami is a depth piece. I hope we don't have to see him on the field. The two RB both past their primes. But I give these dummies some props for signing Fowler. I like what is going on with the pass rushers. So I like Parsons,Williams,Fowler,Kneeland and Wheat as a unit. If healthy this is a good unit. These guys can pressure the QB. So really this could be an average Defense if they upgrade NT. I would say above average if they had Diggs and Overshown and drafted a legit NT. But they don't have that. At least not yet.

The offense they not done much in FA. They need to sign a legit #2 receiver. This is an urgent need. Draft a legit RB. Sanders and Williams don't really move the needle for me. I bet one of them gets cut and fails to make the 53. it would be a significant failure to not address RB in this draft.

We have not upgraded. But if they thought is to add depth to be able to draft BPA, they are at least closer to that
QB: Set at starter, probably bringing back Rush and late pick
RB: They need a RB with juice in the draft
WR: Critical need IMO
OL: Could play today, but very average. Need upgrade at LT, RG, RT
TE: Average at best
DE: Could play today and be fine
DT: 3T is solid, NT is a critical need
LB: Need a healthy Overshown and it will be fine. Subpar without him
CB: Critical need for a real player
S: Can play right now, Could easily upgrade both

So we could line up and play today, sure. But where are we on competing for a Super Bow with the Eagles, Chiefs, Lions, Bills, Commanders?

Totally agree. I think if healthy, Overshown and Sandborn would be a great pairing. Overshown can make up for Sandborns physical limitations, and Sandborn can always have Overshown in the right spot, making him play even faster if that's possible

I would like to draft a kid in the first 3 rounds. I know we NEED other things, but we damn sure need to start grooming QB's. The Cowboys are spoiled because they got lucky on an UFA and a 4th rounder. Dak has missed most of two seasons with injuries. To think that he will stay healthy 17 games or that we will consistently put a good OL and weapons around him while he makes $60M is pretty damn risky. Gotta bite the bullet and invest at some point. Niners brought in Steve Young when they had Montana, Packers drafted Rodgers when they had Favre and Love when they had Rodgers. Chiefs Mahomes when they had Alex Smith and Seahawks Russell Wilson when they had just paid Matt Flynn to be the starter. We need a plan B

I put him below Liufau though. I meant more Sanborn and Liufau until Overshown takes the field or all three when he is back in 3 LBer sets. I like what I saw from Liufau. Love his instinct to punch at the ball too

Why because we can look at things objectively and don't think every player the team signs will be great just because we signed them or that we don't buy the BS that this coaching staff is looking for "the right kinda guy" and putting together quality guys even though their play on the field last year showed otherwise? You are Jerry's favorite kind of fan.
