Goodell is a polesmoker
So yeah fuck you and the horse you rode in on Jerry
personally, i would take Emeka Egbuka WR in the 1st round (#12) and Omarion Hampton RB in the 2nd round (#44)There will be a rotational back that can pkay there. There are some stars in round 2-3 though
I like both signings so I won't criticize either, but these were the types of players other teams sign a couple of weeks from now. Most teams don't even talk to backups to first day of free agency unless they are there own. These are not players that make you better. These are guys who step up and help you when Plan A falls through. We have no Plan AI am not impressed one bit with the moves they made yesterday. I would hope these were depth moves because neither of those guys should be starting. The RB ran for 3.7 ,yards per carry. That does not impress me. Jones possibly can run block. These are the same cheap moves these idiots do every year
I like that idea, I kind of think Hampton and even Henderson will be gone by the time 44 gets here thoughpersonally, i would take Emeka Egbuka WR in the 1st round (#12) and Omarion Hampton RB in the 2nd round (#44)
This is the problem. If the thought is Williams and Jones as quality depth, I can get on board with that. If you're bringing him in to start, then roll up the tentsI like both signings so I won't criticize either, but these were the types of players other teams sign a couple of weeks from now. If so they would be no brainers. I've seen a couple of mocks with Hampton going as high as our pick at 12i think both will be there in the 2nd
Not a good player. Poor run defender. Maybe a decent back of the rotation guy I guess. Again, not a horrible signing as long as he isn't expected to be more than a complimentary piece, but not a guy most teams are focused on, on March 11th. Sign a high end starter and all of these other guys make sense. Don't do so and they just are a bunch more crap standing around. It's almost more frustrating when they do sign someone.Cowboys sign DT Soloman Thomas. 3rd consecutive backup signed in the first two days of FA. Baffling

I'll tell you why the alarm bells are going off for me....I'm hearing the Cowboys were stunned they lost Lewis, they thought they could get him back for $6M per or so. If that's the case, we are just screwed because thats not reality. And now, the CB roon is Bland, Diggs who may not be ready to start the season, and the next guy is Carson who was unplayable by the end of the year. Plus 5 corners got more money yesterday than we gave Diggs, which means Blands number is going to skyrocket. If they are looking at the 3 guys they signed as starters instead of just bodies on the 53, then we are looking at a top 10 pick in next years draftNot a good player. Poor run defender. If this is all the type of FA they sign then you may be generous saying top 10 pick. it could be a top 5 pick.. don't forget about Butler. He was playing well at CB until he got hurt.I'll tell you why the alarm bells are going off for me....I'm hearing the Cowboys were stunned they lost Lewis, they thought they could get him back for $6M per or so. They cleared $50M and have signed 3 backups. I'm hoping there is s LOT more to come, but I'm skeptical. On paper Williams is the best signing, but he was 4.4 YPC pre knee injury and 3.7 since. Thomas, as Jarntt said, has a little pass rush but is a terrible run defender. Jones is fine as a backup, hopefully not in the starting plans. If this is all the type of FA they sign then you may be generous saying top 10 pick. it could be a top 5 pick.. don't forget about Butler. The only solution I see is for them to get a running game going to try and keep the other teams offense on the sidelines. If this team gets behind by multiple scores they are done
Gholston is a good example of a player they developed and then they don't make no attempt to bring Him back? Kind of pisses me off.
I like it. I don't think he ever becomes like a #2 or #3 due to his size, but I think he needs to be more involved in the offense. We are bringing back Turpin 3 years like $18M. Good deal
He should be way more involved. We need players with juice. Need a back who can run and a WR who can motorI like it. I don't think he ever becomes like a #2 or #3 due to his size, but I think he needs to be more involved in the offense.
It going to be a long season if they think Williams is the starting back. Like you mentioned his YPC went down after he got injured. Jones may fit this scheme better than the Dolphins scheme. He may be a valuable backup. I am good with them as backups . Williams is a good blocker and receiver so I don't think he is a bumb either...This is the problem. Williams is a straight line guy, physical, good blocker, good receiver. Not much juice. He is essentially the guy Zeke was his last season here with PollardIt going to be a long season if they think Williams is the starting back. The thing is when I look at this roster it is not as good as the 2024 roster. That is a problem because those damn Commanders are getting better.
