Pretty much confirms what I've been saying all season, up until these last two games.

Jeez. Seeing is believing. The Cowboys game plan was unforgivable. I think now that Jay pretty much know he's coming back, he has allowed Sean to take the restraints off of Kirk. Jay knew the only thing that could get him fired is if Kirk bombed and threw a bunch of picks.

Jay was protecting Jay, not Kirk. I know Sean calls the plays but I assume Jay determines the level of aggression.

If what I am saying is true, and I could be wrong, but if true, Dan has to take some of the blame. For your coach to have to look over his shoulder to the point where it affects play calls and game plans is no good. Win Saturday and it's all water under the bridge.

Heh. You like that! has officially become iconic. Far as what KC he told McVay. I think he could've as easily been speaking to himself as to McVay. There's been shots open down the field throughout this season. More open than 3 of his 4 TDs passes Sunday. The 1st one to Reed and Jax's and PG's TDs. None of them were necessarily open, but Cuz put the ball in good spots and they all made nice plays, aggressive plays on the ball. That was good to see. The way KC gave DeSean the heads up before his TD was cool to.

The defense is playing well also imo. Tackling has been better and so has coverage overall, though I think they eased up some and Buff scored a couple big TDs. The way KC and the offense responded on PG's TD was nice though.

Haven't had a locker room this united in years. We'll see if that makes a difference.

LOL at Kirk running around like Jim Valvano looking for someone to hug after the big one to DJax.

But he's right. Remember the offense we ran down 24 to Tampa? Let's do that and stop forcing the run. It should be obvious by now that this offense can move the ball and score points when they have all their weapons.

What I also took from that video is his chemistry with 88 and 11. He said this week that he is just starting to get comfortable with them due to the fact that he went with the 2's and 3's all through camp.

That's why I hope they can work things out with Garçon and Jackson. I repeat, ask Kirk if he wants those guys back.

I have no qualms on sticking with the run . . . if it's working. If it's not, like the Dallas game, it's just plain stupid. As Emerson once said, "A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of simple minds." Well, Grudes definitely was of the "little mind" ilk on that Monday night game.

And while I'm all in favor of taking the training wheels off of Kirk, there have been throws downfield he's been missing. Of course, all QBs miss throws, but getting him to throw more aggressively may cause him to see those downfield targets. This may result in more picks, sacks and fumbles, but the upside is definitely worth it.

You still have to run the ball to make play action effective.

Nobody is staying abandon the run completely. But when you run on something like 15 of 20 first and tens, with no success, then you need to change up. Is there any question now that this team can move the ball through the air?
