Dalton's dead money hit drops to almost nothing for a QB after this season...ride him out this yr...if the results are less than the playoffs...cut loose Lewis and cut loose Dalton...start over.

I would assume Mccarron is approaching some sort of free agency pay day?

With the state of the QB in this league, amazing he will be looking at big bucks

Mike Glennon opportunity coming up....or maybe just a good back up deal...the teams that are QB needy are lining up for a reportedly a good QB draft...NYJ, SF, maybe 1 more team are pretty much assured a solid choice in the 2018 draft according to these yr round draft experts so it will be more likely a back up role for him, but on a 2nd contract he will be doing well for himself.

Hey I got an idea, maybe the Vikings could trade them Sam Bradford for a first round pick?

$96 million? That better be at least a 10 year contract.

One thing to note: Bengals play the Texans, who got absolutely manhandled by Jacksonville, on Thursday night, and one of those two teams is going to be 0-2. My money would be on the Bengals being 0-2. At that point, depending on how Dalton plays, the McCarron question may become more serious. We'll see.

No. The Texans have played in the trashiest division in the league for a decade. The Bengals play the Steelers and Ravens twice a year. Watson might jumpstart the offense but he'll turn it over too. The defense is overrated.

And the Bengals are at home for a Thursday Night game. Chalk it up for the Bengals. Texans are in trouble. Good thing their division blows.
