Well it is what it is.

I'm disappointed in the opponent. Seen aTm for the last 16 years and really was looking forward to playing Florida in the Sugar.

With all that being said this is a very favorable match up for the Sooners.

aTm brings nothing OU hasn't seen all year long. High profile offense, bend dont break defense. This is prototypical BIG XII. I look for this to be a high scoring game. Probably 30s/40s.

Sumlin is very familer with Stoops and how he runs things so I give aTm the head game advantage as Sumlin will have his guys prepared. OU has won three straight bowl games so I think Stoops has turned the corner on how he preps for a bowl but the team was expecting to face off in the Sugar and a flight to New Orleans > bus ride to Arlington.

The only good thing to come of this is I work with several aggies so the heat will be turned up at work over the next month. Bragging rights over that and beating the only team to beat the mighty SEC champ would be a bonus.

In terms of the match-up, I don't see how Oklahoma can be upset aside from not making the Sugar Bowl. Texas A&M vs Oklahoma should be a good game. At least you aren't Georgia playing Nebraska or LSU playing Clemson. Of all the teams that probably should have BCS bowl bids over teams like Louisville, Wisconsin, and Northern Illinois, Oklahoma and A&M have the best match-up. This game should be better than 3 of the 5 BCS games.

Comparing Texas A&M this year to last year is equal to comparing Auburn a year before they had Cam Newton to the year after.
