the dodgers haven't really been giving up prospects for rentals in recent years. potentially the dodgers could go after him, lock him up, and move Seager to 2nd?
Seager's arguably the best shortstop in baseball. That's a pretty tough one to swallow especially when they're already in a bit of a hole in the division race. I expect them to try to patch that up internally though their in-house options aren't going to come close to replicating Seager's kind of production.
A lot of season to go, but I'd be feeling pretty good about the division if I were a D-Backs fan.
Ummmmm.......
I think this guy would disagree...
I said arguably. And Seager had 2.7 more WAR from 2016-17 than Correa with comparable batting stats.
Seager: .302/.370/.497, .368 wOBA, 132 wRC+
Correa: .291/.373/.492, .368 wOBA, 135 wRC+

Much like Clemens and Bonds never failed tests officially, there was a lot of smoke. Do you honestly believe Pujols was clean his entire career?
Again much like Bonds and ClemensUntil proven guilty.....
