Yep & when I first saw this I thought that Cooley was maintaining that he has proof that SM is drinking again. However - he just throws out the question about whether this could be true - 100% speculation on his part & highly unethical. Jeez - anything for ratings. Cooley owes an apology to SM.

Yeah Cooley really pulled this out of his ass on this one. The funny thing is I thought Cooley was an ok radio anchor until he got with Kevin Sheehan. I mean every morning i ride into work I listen to Cooley over talking Kevin thinking he's right about everything and throwing random ass statements out there about the Redskins and this is starting to get really old. You guys are right, anything for ratings....smh...you're better than that Chris.

Yep. It's fair to consider it, but publicly putting that out there is pretty bad. Would love to be a fly in the wall next time these two talk/are around each other. Loved Cooley the player, but he and the rest of the Redskins radio broadcast team are embarrassing.

My best guess is Chris Cooley won't be covering the Skins for very much longer. You can't just throw an egg against the wall and hope it sticks. Without any real proof or concrete evidence an accusation such as this without merit should get you fired. I liked Cooley the player, the analyst or reporter Cooley not so much.

another thing is if he is struggling with addiction again , so what ? why cant BA and others give him some dignity and take some pressure off of him while he struggles through a bad spell ? its just a cheap shot

It could be grounds for termination. Or at least be the given reason that could give Snyder and/or Allen legitimate grounds to 86 Scotty Mac.

If Snyder/Allen floated this out there to start to lay the groundwork to get rid of SM, that will be the final straw for me. The sad part is that I can see Snyder doing this.

Agreed. It sounds right up his alley in fact. If Snyder did lay this groundwork for the reason of firing SM. I hope my resolve is as strong as yours far as this being the final straw.
