I'll say Embid should not have been called for a foul on that play, but there's absolutely no way a sane person sees Smart as going for knees. Smart has always gone after loose balls regardless if it's near people chairs.

If you think for a second the NBA and the refs would let the MVP be taken out on a dirty play you're lying to yourself.

He was diving for the loose ball, thats it. Again I think the foul on Embid was wrong as the contact of the two players on the floor brought the contact.

Ball goes towards the seats Smart does the same thing, regardless if other players are going for the ball or not.
