Yes. This is a solid signing for you guys. He obviously wont be amazing, but he is a winger that you didnt have yesterday. And 500k is an amazing deal.

So this is a good/bad signing.

what i don't get about the picture is that it appears he's on the phone...and they apparently had camera people staged intentionally. maybe it was just a bad angle...but sure as heck looks pretty naughty.

I'm not expecting Comrie to automatically score 20 goals, or become some amazing winger, but at the salary of 500k and most likely getting a shot on Sid's line, I am expecting him to play better than 500k hockey. I think he'll be fine in our system because he doesn't have to be a big, physical guy, because we have a million of those. He just needs to work hard and be smart, and I think he'll do well. For the most part though, this is a depth signing, and one that will breed a lot of competition for those winger spots come camp. Which is always a good thing.
