NFL just announced that the Seahawks will get three comp picks in 2016 Draft.They are a 3rd (97th overall), a 5th (171) and a 6th (215).


3rd rounder is a good score

I believe FA signing only factor into it if they were not part of your team the year before.

Maxie got us the 3rd because he was overpaid. Thanks Eagles LMAO. Mebane should give us a 5th at least next year and Irvin a 4th. I do not see the Hawks signing any FA that would cause us to lose those comp picks. If we Lose Okung that will be a 3rd most likely.

oh and Sweezy has a 9.5 mill cap hit for 2016 so that could = a 3rd also if he stays a starter all season.

Its pretty obvious the strategy on this team is to stay young with draft picks, letting mediocre to above average guys walk for big contracts is something we are going to have to get used to.

the key is keeping the good players at key positions, which is why i feel like keeping okung might be part of the plan rather than sign another teams LT or trading for a guy like joe thomas. softy was talking about that yesterday.

Agree. Signing Okung would sure make things easier IMO.

Yeah that's great.... Especially with the ability Pete and John have showed finding good talent later in the rounds.... I think that's gives us a total of 9 draft picks now.....
