Not only does Laine only have one goal in 2019, 7 of his 25 this year came against the Blues when they still sucked.

What the hell do you even do with him going into RFA status? Probably would've thought he'd get somewhere around $9-10 mil going into the season (sometimes not locking them up early works out in your favour I guess); $5 mil/yr bridge now?

Minus 22 this year. I kid you not.

The team will have a real problem with this next summer. Probably a bigger problem than Marner v. TOR.

As disappointing as his year is, he is still outproducing Willy Nylander on a PPG basis.

It's less triggered and more just laughing at the absurdity that only the Leafs are going to get offer-sheeted into oblivion, and it would be one thing if it was just Dreger's trolling ass doing it but it's a shit ton of fans of other teams piling on, teams with tasty RFA's of their own, that really clinches it lol

All goodnatured kidding aside, it is kind of ridiculous. There are several top tier RFAs this summer on teams with potential Cap issues. Silly to say it will only be a TOR problem, and the sane of us do see the absurdity.
