As a Flames fan, I was ready to move on from Treliving last off season. To his credit (and some luck), the team has responded. Now if they lose to the Stars, the heat should and will be turned up again. Not sure what's going on in Winnipeg, that team just continues to spin its wheels. They should be a better team because on paper they look pretty good.

Dave Lowry is a good man, he's probably relieved to be out of Winnipeg.

So they are no interviewing Barry Trotz for the head coaching position.

Also that Penguins/Rangers series ended up with a favorable outcome for the Jets.
Even though they lost out on the 7th round pick for Beaulieu. They kept the opportunity for the 1st rounder since the Rangers are still in the playoffs.
