Not that it means anything until they pan out but holy shit what a difference from Hunter running the draft.

That’s fine. Best case scenario he gets back to where he seemed to be heading before that horrific wrist injury and is able to complement JT and Marner on the second line. Worst case it’s a wasted million.

Soup's on...

At the risk of sticking my neck out, if anyone thinks this market value deal makes Connor Brown worth $4M AAV, well, I have some swampland in Newark to sell ya.

In other words, this deal makes financial sense. Dubas probably saved a few grand on AAV by bunking with Soup in the hospital after his injury.

Soup took less than he could've.

Guy was on pace for 48 pts before the injury. He's the same age as Brown. And he has defensive ability.

So say Ilya could've gotten $1.9m AAV from Dubas. The Sens' starting arb # to Brown is $2.2m lol.

Wasn't Feschuk the guy who contacted Reimer's mom trying to find out the severity of his concussion?

Are they any decent writers covering the team?
MSM? Probably not. And I include Athletic in the MSM (Jonas Siegel went from fine at TSN to WTF there).

Kristin Shilton avoids writing anything stupid which in itself is an accomplishment but she doesn’t do much beyond report line combos and that’s fine but there’s only so much info there.

Honestly the bloggers at Pension Plan Puppets are still my go to for Leaf stuff. They do the most with the least.

That seemed uncalled for (a verbal tongue lashing would have sufficed).

Really? She spit in his face and he shoved her. Seems restrained to me :noidea:

I always find these types of vids fascinating. Why did the person filming, well, film this? Was there some verbal altercation before the clip starts? Do people walk around just randomly filming?

The world is clearly passing me by.

/edit OK saw the followup post
