It's also not entirely attributable to his shooting ability suddenly and mysteriously going south either I don't think. Although I know that Steve Simmons knows an "unnamed scout" who says it is....
I've also heard he's getting a double shawarma platter at Pita Nutsi before practice everyday.

Kadri's stats are similar to Colborne's this season. Could the #Flames RFA be looking for something similar??? Gulp!

Kadri has been way more consistent than Colborne, most I would go with Joe would be 2.5 million.

/That's less than Engelland will make this season :D

Kadri wouldn't be getting anything close to what he got if this was his first productive season.

Bridge Colborne and everything should pan out.

To @Bloody Brian Burke and @DragonfromTO

Thanks for the posts. Down here in the non-desert-but-still-a-hockey-wasteland, news and discussion of TML is scarce.:thumb:

Much appreciated!
It's funny, because in my forum time I think I've met more Leaf fans living abroad than from here. Remember Puckhead (RIP) from the FN days? Another desert dweller.

But you're always a pleasure to chat with, sir.

Raptors move onto round 2 of the NBA playoffs
Blue Jays win a weekend series against Tampa Bay

/Only losing Toronto team this past weekend was TFC.

Good article. One thing I don't think he specifically mentioned is that you need to be at the cap limit before you can start to use ltir.
That little wrinkle meant the canucks had to get two $2m players instead of one $4m guy for a playoff run one year.

It's mentioned in the part about ELCs and bonuses

"Since teams must be at the upper limit to activate the LTIR exception to the salary cap, that means any team that uses LTIR and has any of its players hit performance bonuses is going to have those bonuses applied to the cap the next season."
