betcha abs of steel called Kessel "fatty fatty 2 ba 4"

It's too bad for Booth that the mittenstringers in the media don't make personnel decisions, otherwise he might have just earned himself a 3 year contract.

Hopefully he waives his NTC so that this little piggy can go to market.

Kessel for Strome, Dal Colle and lower prospect. Boom. Done. If the Isles get popped in the first round Snow basically has to do this - where else is he going to find a scoring winger for Tavares?

He either paid someone off, or, he has some damaging info about someone. How the hell does this happen?

Dal Colle might make the team out of camp next year. Boom. Scoring winger.

That may take 3 or 4 years to mature, by which point who knows where the team will be. Or they can trade him for a proven 35g/75p winger and be considered a Cup contender at this time next season.

I can't imagine you'd get Strome AND Dal Colle though. Seems way too high for a career -75 hockey player.

If you still think +/- means anything, I feel for you.

You know what I'd love to know? How many empty netters against Phil has been on for over his career. When you're the top (and only) scorer on a team that loses a lot you can end up taking a lot of minuses that way.

Not to mention sharing the ice with such luminous skating partners as Bozak, Liles, Connolly, Komisarek etc.

It's gotta count for something....I mean, granted Phil's a guy who's not out there to play defense but doesn't that make the entire line vulnerable? While I definitely don't put too much stock in that stat (for you and Dragons reasons as good examples), you definitely know what kind of player you are getting in Kessel. Good and bad.

As I've said before and still believe, Kessel is actually the best defensive player on his line.
