I like your beard.
Dumbest rule in the book.
I presume this is an attempt to protect the CHL from having players poached into the AHL?

Then insert language like "No CHL'er can play in the AHL until 20, unless drafted by a NHL team. It's a free country - if a player is too good to play junior, he shouldn't be playing junior.
Of course, the CHL lets all the Russians and other Euros play in the league now so it's not too hard to find replacements anyway. Dumb rule.
Oh, I agree, trust me. I guess it's probably the NHLs way of appeasing junior leagues and saying "thanks for developing them for free". But still, it's much more beneficial in most cases to have these guys in a pro league under their team's eye. Would it complicate entry level contract stuff though? I'm guessing it would because AHL is considered pro?
You got Clarkson on that merit, man...you can't get too greedy.

Someone had to get a second mortgage to afford those tier two fan seats.
Really dumb to throw it on during play. Hope he got his ass kicked.
On the flip side, more jerseys were thrown on the ice in one game (3) than the Leafs have scored goals in five games (2).

Cracks me up that someone actually took the time to come up with that list.
Or this stat:
Also, since January 10th Devan Dubnyk has more points than the Leafs 14 highest paid players combined.
/At least the Jackets tried to make them feel good by shitting the bed in that game.

One thing I'm getting really tired of reading/hearing... "Should have drafted Domi instead of Nylander!". Um, different draft dumbass...
And even if it was the same draft... no.
Meh. No, but I can't say I'm exceedingly high on Nylander at this stage. Being the most promising Leafs prospect is like being the Presidential nominee for a third party. He could be Ross Perot, but in the limited appearances I've seen him in he hasn't look like much more than a Ralph Nader.
I don't know, seems like Nylander has a bit more complete game and there is concern that Domi's flash will not translate well to the NHL. At least from what I have read. Nylander might not be a bigger impact player, but is a much safer bet for a team looking for stability.
