Totally agree. As an added bonus, taking out the B’s captain could create a Lemieux/Draper moment and create a heated rivalry like Avs Red Wings. Can you imagine an original six rivalry with those undertones?

Also, I would put bertuzzi on waivers and or fight him at practice for his actions last night. He’ll, I’d bring in Wayne Simmonds for a day just to tune him up if I ran the show.

I guess the silver lining is if they do shit the bed this season they still have their first round pick, all of Treliving’s contracts are one year deals or easily bought out (Reaves), and it would likely mean all of he, Keefe and Shanny get shitcanned. Can bounce back very quickly with someone who has a clue in charge.
