I haven't seen a Tony Phillips comp on him but what do you think? A little more pop and a little less patient than Tony but I like it.

I think the absolute dream scenario might be that he is able to handle CF but there are a lot of ways he could end up fitting. Maybe Vlad can't stay at 3B, maybe Biggio can't play 2B full time, he can potentially cover up a decent number of "problems".

I'm sticking with Tony Phillips. I always feel like I have better comps than the guys who do this but I honestly think I probably just know more names/players (with less detail in many cases I'm sure).

Phillips’ versatility would definitely be welcome in Martin.
