They've tried him with Marner a few times and it's been meh. At least there's familiarity there with Kapanen.

Or Willie can just fucking score some.

I've had better sex with complete strangers than I have with a lot of serious girlfriends, familiarity is overrated .

Like I said I'm also a little worried he's going to be targeted and vulnerable if he's lugging the puck between the blue lines every time.

Tyson Barrie is being used improperly but his proper use involves a lot of PP1 time which he's never going to get so I'm not sure I know how this plays out moving forward. Might be a trade option if Dubas can sell his true value.

I really, really, REALLY hope the next 3 months make this a very difficult decision for the team.

It’s weird that they keep asking it. It’s weird that stars keep answering it. And it’s ironic when coming from guys on the Kings and Caps who combined for *checks notes* 0 more playoff wins than the Leafs last season.

Did no one bother asking Drew how many times he’s woken up in the middle of the night after having Matt Tkachuk nightmares?

I just love how Doughboy keeps chirping up at the standings.
Better selection than what's below, I guess

Call me crazy, but they have a guy behind the Leafs bench who seems to know a thing or two about how teams have to play to win a Stanley Cup (granted, it's been 10 years since he's been to a Cup final, but that's more recent than Kevin Lowe).

Says a lot coming from a fan of a team like that. :D

Of course, he thinks it involves a lot of Roman Polak and Ron Hainsey so...

Looks like Bob read my post

Where he's wrong is in suggesting that going with a roster of 20 would provide any cap "savings" that could be used later. When you're using LTIR money you can't bank it like you can cap space.

Just occurred to me that he may be trying to say that they could do something like trade for a backup goalie making more than the minimum and go with nobody in the press box. I suppose that would work but it makes things really difficult if anyone gets injured but not badly enough to be put on LTIR.

Of course now if the Leafs trade for a backup goalie you guys will never believe that I'm not Bob .

Awful narcissistic of me to point out ways that I'm "better" than Bob rather than "worse". I gotta be me though .

Simmons, Marleau and the Streak. Can it get any better than this?

WTF? The Sharks have played 16 games and Marleau has played 12. He's played 12 consecutive games. Twelve.

If you ain't good enough to be signed when camp breaks it's basically a healthy scratch.

Twelve Steve, Twelve. Douze. Doce. двенадцать. ਬਾਰਾਂ.
