Jared Boll got a game misconduct and when it was announced in the Arena, there was a smattering of applause.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you what could very well be Jared Boll's last act as an NHL player. Quite certain to be his last act as a Columbus Blue Jacket:

Suspension should be in the 3 games range. He will certainly ride the popcorn upon return and considering his complete non involvement the majority of the year, I am expecting buyout this offseason.

Goodbye, you ape.

Leafs are only two points behind the Oil with four games in hand. I don't think the Leafs are finishing 30th.

/Heck, they might pass the Flames before season end.
Thus the "bottom two finish" hope. I already said last week Edmonton's finishing 30th.

The Leafs' schedule down the stretch is almost entirely playoff teams, and the only other team that's close to the bottom that they play is Columbus who should still be far enough away from the Leafs by then to ensure that game is meaningless. Flames still need to play the Oilers and Canucks and the Canucks still got 2 games vs. Edmonton and, hey, somebody's gotta win those games.

I'm hoping for 29th, but I don't see the Leafs falling lower than 27th and I'm okay with that.

Neat. Last nights was Sergei Bobrovsky's 92nd win as a Blue Jacket, tying him for the franchise lead with Steve Mason all time.

Congrats Bobsky. How does that make you feel?

For a team that has been around as long as the Jackets, the fact that 92 wins sets a franchise record is to put it mildly not good.

I'm giving Jarmo a pass because he hasn't been there for all that long - time is running out though.

He traded for Clarkson and hired Torts, ya know...

Yeah, although methinks John Davidson was more of the guy that hired Torts (from stuff I have read, JD really likes Torts and I believe he is Jarmo's boss).

I'm of the opinion that Presidents are really the ones running things these days, and GMs are acting more like executive assistants than they are bosses, just ones with very public faces.

So yes, more a Davidson thing but we all know he'll fire the Finn first.

There was a thing going around on another place I visit when my kool aid cup gets low. The DGB thing about one game costing the Jackets Ovi generated a TON Of discussion.

The four worst teams that year were Chicago, Pittsburgh, Washington and CBJ.

10 years on, that's three model teams and one monkey fucking a football.

In regards to goalies, though. Denis imploded, LeClaire's knee blew up, Mason got his brain sucked out through his willy on campus and Bob has a groin made of wax paper. Here's the part that really hurts... Joonas Korpisalo. This year's wonder kid has 14 wins. He's in top ten all time. He wins 20 more he ties Tugger for 6th...

He's only 10 behind Tabasco, and he's been here three years.

He traded for Clarkson and hired Torts, ya know...

And traded away a 6'4" All-Star #1C because the coach didn't like him.

LEAVE JARMO ALONE ... HE GAVE US A SECOND ROUNDER!
