Ducks strategy is to piss the fans off. They say they’re going to strategically sit him to ramp him up for the second half of the season where he should play all games barring injury. He has looked decent in the two games he did play however.

Looks like I may have a new favorite meat head. :-/ What an utterly stupid hit. Which is a shame because he showed some decent skill in preseason even if his skating really needs work.

And somehow we wound up even strength after all that.

He has 27 SOG and has hit at least 4 posts that I have counted. He's playing well, but is just not getting results. Seems to be a problem team-wide. They've figured out how to reduce the number of shots against, but like last night they got 37 SOG and got shutout.

Against Anaheim they had 50+ and 90 attempts and lost in OT. Just snakebit at the moment. And they seem to be trying to force passes through instead of being a tad more selfish and going for dirty goals. All the PP goals have been the other Power Play unit.

They also keep putting him with Jenner and whoever is hot not named Fantilli or Johnson. Last night it was Roslovic. That isn't helping. I'd like to see Fantilli in the middle with him and Laine when Patty's back.
