1) You have a kid in the minors who is doing well, is projected to be a 2nd line winger in your organization who has been the subject of trade talks for two weeks. You move a top six center and can call him up to showcase him with the knowledge that he will likely gut himself to perform to either win a role or increase his trade value. And you don't call him up, you call up a natural Center and put him on the third line wing.
2) You get back a defenseman (Goloubef) who has looked solid earlier with Murray and is his defensive conscience, and you just traded for a very strong puck moving D man. So you put Golouobef elsewhere and put your new puck mover with the only other puck mover you have.
3) You lose your #1c, and try to justify it by talking about future captain and strong scorer Boone Jenner. Who you promptly put on the wing with your #2C as #1C and a guy who is now the subject of trade rumors.
4) Then you put the top scorer and only all star on your team on the second line.

I swear, at this point, the organization is just fucking with me.
