Also, I don't think I will ever understand how coaches like Brad Larsen don't give young guys who make shit like that happen all the ice time.

Blue Jackets and my club got together again to help get more people trying hockey that otherwise might never get to experience it.


Yes, the goalies have been coming to my goalie practices occasionally. Especially This guy:

The kid in the white jersey is his son and a goalie I have been working with for 3 years. Dad asked at the first practice if he could give it a go. So we went and found him gear. The pads used to belong to the program director's son.


The pucks are hollow aluminum - 3 inches high and 6 inches in diameter with ball bearings inside them.

Tank update: First two minutes, a Dallas Star fell and landed on Chinakhov's ankle which caused Chinny's knee to bend a way knees don't normally bend.

Bedard plays roller hockey with Kent Johnson and Jake Christiansen and said Johnson or MacTavish are his ideal teammates/linemates.

He is best friends with Svozil who is extremely close with Jiricek.

Bedard also knows that he would not want to play *against* Jiricek as he had no points in the WJHC when Jiricek was on the ice.

This opened to the public today. A few of us got to go Tuesday. It's pretty awesome. I enjoyed the goalie simulator until one of my goalies got the guy running it to start shooting the pucks faster. "Can you shoot 4 at once?"

One of the other coaches played NHL 22 against Stinger and I actually heard Stinger laugh. The coach was chirping him hard, knowing the guy inside the head couldn't retaliate. And he is a friend of the coach. He was merciless. Stinger was playing as the Blue Jackets and my guy was like "You better hope Laine don't come in here and see you makin' him look like a PeeWee. He'll squash you like - WHAT KIND OF BUG ARE YOU ANYWAY?"
