Yeah, three games is pretty harsh for a player who has no history of dirty hits. The DoPES showing once again that they are consistent with their inconsistency.

Question 1: Are Jackets fans on team tank yet?

Question 2: Does Foligno’s absence help or hinder team tank at this point?

Not on team tank. With even average goaltending and a trade for one top 6 forward they can still have success. Might be time to change coaches, especially if Tampa rolls Cooper out the door. Torts is out of ideas, and I think being tuned out to a degree. For example - our power play has been shit for 4 years.

Foligno being out hurts the team in the sense that it will encourage Tortorella to continue to change the lines up.

What’s being traded for a top six forward though? Is it really worth trading the first rounder they luckily managed to keep and could be a lottery pick even with a decent top six guy added to the mix?

Not sure I’m seeing average goaltending helping them leapfrog, as of today, 3 teams in their own division (4 if you include NJ with a game in hand and 1 pt back) not to mention the Atlantic teams for a WC. But I like the optimism. They were fun last trade deadline, I’m all in for a repeat.

Yeah, just goaltending won't do it at this point.

We have a ton of D, a couple of which would be top 4 in a lot of places. Plus we have a ton of depth/bottom 6 forwards. I think we'd be crazy to lose that first rounder, just in case.

D: We could lose Murray because his replacement is already in the system (Peeke). If we hold onto Murray (and he gets an exorcism to get rid of the bad luck) we could lose one of Savard or Nutivaara without too much pain. Clendening and Harrington are both completely expendable.

F: We could pretty safely lose two of Milano, Jenner, Nash or Anderson. Wennberg too if we get a legit #2 C back.

Plus we are pretty deep at Goal organizationally. 3 or four potential starters in the next 4 years.

Nutivaara, Milano, Wennberg and Korpisalo could get a top 6 F and a reliable veteran backup goalie, IMO.

Shame that the Devils are looking to turn around lately. There was a LOT of blame thrown at Hall. He could be 80% of the answer.

1) Fuck you for asking a goalie who just lost in a shootout after stopping 33 of 35 shots that question.
2) Awwwwww, Elvis.

The good news for Korpisalo is no one stays in Torts' dog house for long.

Awesome game tonight. stopped 31 of 33, but on replay that second one didn't actually go in. It hit the crossbar. So 1 GA.

No, not Joonas. My son's first game of his senior season. His team can score. 5-2 official final. 5-1 reality final.

Pretty cool setup for Elvis featuring the city skyline and the state flag. Shame it will probably never make it into a home game as long as Torts is the coach.

I don't know who CLB is but Columbus could use someone, ANYONE, who has actually seen a power play to coach ours.

But we scored a power play goal yesterday!

And Brad Larsen isn't the problem!

Or... CBJ add Paul MacLean to club's coaching staff

Side note; an alert on my phone was titled "MacLean returns to NHL with Blue Jackets". Had I not seen the rumor yesterday that it's Paul, not Doug I might have shit myself.

So, it's a full set for Elvis.

I can't wait to never see them on home ice.
