Ben Kuzma said the asking price for 1st overall is 6th + Tanev.

I do that in a heartbeat.

Although I really like Chris Tanev, I think there needs to be more to that deal for the Panthers to do that

It'll be funny when they go after Babcock and they can't get him and they end up with a crappy coach

They'll probably go with Ulf Samuelsson for now - or John Hynes

Josh Rimer thought Pittsburgh would hire Bill Peters and then immediately after Bob McKenzie said it would be Carolina and it was Carolina

@sportsnetmurph: Willie Desjardins is certainly the front runner for the #canucks head coaching job, but the plan is to still interview Scott Arniel as well.

RT @sportsnetmurph If Desjardins takes the #canucks job its almost guaranteed that he'll bring Doug Lidster to be a part of his staff.

I like the move for dejardenes. Just very cautious about it.

The Last big AHL hire was Dallas Eakins for Edmonton. Didn't last a Season.

I agree to the fact that Vancouver has way way way more superior talent then the Oil but still

The difference between these two hires is that Dallas Eakins was very young when he got his opportunity with the Oilers - Willie Desjardins is 57 so he's really had to work hard to earn his opportunity, I don't think you're going to see him taking it for granted like Dallas Eakins is

Also Willie Desjardins isn't a cocky arrogant SOB who thinks he's the smartest guy in the room either.
