I read it as the forward talent is deeper than the d talent in the first 40 picks.
Or our organizational depth is lacking in the scoring department.

Yeah that too, there aren't many d-men ranked in the first round so there's a pretty good chance it's a forward anyway and they do lack at forward, but it would be an interesting debate if they were to jump up to number one

/the thing i hate about cullen is he makes adv stats out to be rocket science that only a few could possibly understand when he himself isnt the upper crust of the stats mafia guys coming up with them

I don't think it has anything to do with analytics, it's just a simple fact that you can't suck any worse than they did last year, they should automatically be better next season
