Colts beat 49ers, Seattle, & Denver should they be rated higher than the Chiefs?

I think people make too big a deal out of these wins in the regular season. This isn't the BCS. This is the NFL.

The only thing that matters at the end of the year are

1) What your final win/loss standing is
2) How well you are playing
3) How healthy you are

And who gets home field/weather in the playoffs :suds:

Sorry you feel slighted over something as meaningless as one poster leaving the 5-2 9ers off of the imaginary power rankings list. It's a worldwide travesty, I tell ya!

I said it with sarcasm but I couldn't find the sarcasm font. Relax, I don't get my Jimmy's rustled if a Seahawk fan slights my team. It's human nature.

No because at the end of the day, the Chiefs are still undefeated and I think being undefeated means a lot in this league, when you go 7-0 to start the season, that's pretty much the 1st half of the season

By that, you mean should they be ranked #1? The answer is no. The Chiefs right now are #1 team in the NFL.

I would still have Denver #1 in my Power Rankings, barely above the Chiefs. Saints, Seahawks, 9ers, and Colts are 3-6 but very close.

The Colts have been a pleasure to watch, but have been very inconsistent in their play this year. The losses to Miami and San Diego exemplified very poor play on the Colts part. Luck was bad against Miami. The rest of the team stunk it up at San Diego.

This is still a young team learning to play together with problems in the O-line. They are missing their best tight end and not getting the production at rb they should be. The defense is up and down like a yoyo.

The future looks quite bright for the Colts. However, I am not expecting a deep run in the playoffs this year. We can play great at home when inspired. On the road? I am not seeing it.

Great win for the Colts but I never know how good to feel after a game where so many guys go down. Reggie Wayne may have just played the last down of his career.

He left the stadium under his own power. That guy's picture is next to "tough" in the dictionary. None of the injuries appeared to be too serious and we are going into our "bye" week.

While I do not see the Colts as real Super Bowl contenders this year, I seem to remember a lot of folks saying they would take a step back this year. To be honest, they are a little bit better than I expected. Don't discount the Grigson factor. This guy has it going.

Btw Wood. Good win yesterday. But those uniforms about made me gag.

They look better in their original black and white.
