The Colts have beaten 3 of the top rated teams should they be rated above the undefeated Chiefs?

I would think they would beat the Chiefs, then I remember that they lost to the Chargers.

Colts have definitely moved up in the power rankings, for whatever that stupid list is worth. Very impressive wins against the best teams this year. You can't ask for more.

Credit Indy for getting those three victories but they're a few bounces here and there from being 3-4.

Indy is an impressive team but I would still rank them behind KC, Denver, Seattle, and New Orleans. I would even make the argument that by the end of the year San Fran will be a better team than Indy as well.

Two of those games were at home and they lost to two sub par teams. No, they shouldn't be ranked above KC, but every team facing them for the rest of the season better take notice and have a good game plan. Luck is legit and if they can find some consistency on their defense they could take down other giants.

Colts are not the best team in the league if they have 2 losses...

You leave out the Niners now but include the Hawks, as a team better than them, even though they just beat you guys a couple of weeks ago.

Their wins have been impressive but their losses have not been.

Their injury list is also mounting very quickly after tonight. Let's see how long they can stay on a roll. Luck is becoming a great QB in a short amount of time too.

You're so hurt that someone doesn't respect your 9ers, huh?

Indy beat Seattle and SF. Seattle embarrassed SF. Why should the 9ers be mentioned again?

Power rankings don't matter, remember?

It's not a slight to the 49ers but you guys lost to them at home and lost by a wide margin

Plus 49ers are 5-2 and Colts are 5-2...Seahawks are 6-1

And I did say that by the end of the year I see the 49ers being better than the Colts. So...not sure what the head scratching is for

49ers have improved from a rough start. Winning 'x' amount of weeks ago means very little in the NFL unless a team is just downright bad like Jacksonville.

Just curious is all. We will see how it plays out.

Whatever, troll. When a Seahawk fan slights the 49ers, I guess it should be expected. At least he's semi reasonable. There's no help for you.

I agree on all accounts. Which is why I reminded the Robot that power rankings don't mean anything so he shouldn't be getting so emotionally invested to other people's meaningless opinions.

Could be does not exist. The Pats could be 2-5 but they are 5-2. I think the wins against good teams are far more important than losses against so-so teams.

But you make a good point, teams need to hold for the full season and then POs if they make it.
Like golf, you can play many good holes on any given round but if you can't maintain good play for the full 18 holes on any given day, then everything else was for naught.

Sorry you feel slighted over something as meaningless as one poster leaving the 5-2 9ers off of the imaginary power rankings list. It's a worldwide travesty, I tell ya!

I think people make too big a deal out of these wins in the regular season. This isn't the BCS. This is the NFL.

The only thing that matters at the end of the year are

1) What your final win/loss standing is
2) How well you are playing
3) How healthy you are
