UGH, I don't even feel like watching to the end. 4 home runs off of Ray dampened my hopes for a win.

I do not think this is a coincidence. There was a national article written before the season that I saw about how Castillo is not a good pitch framer and leaves a lot to be desired from a catching standpoint. This is enough of a sample size for me at least to see that the pitchers have pitched far better when Herrmann is catching.

Colorado is lucky they have AZ to play so often. If not, they'd be like the worst team in baseball.

Greinke gets to get some revenge. Or maybe he'll just get smoked for the 4th straight time when he has to face a legit offense.

I'm certainly not going to write this team off in April but we just lost two series to the Rockies at home and still haven't won a series at home. Greinke did his part tonight. We need to protect this ballpark. Every contending team in history has always played well at home. It just seems like teams come here expecting to blast the ball because or ballpark is perfect for it. Also our defense is significantly worse than last season. It doesn't always show up in errors but our outfielders, especially the corners, seem to be having trouble. We allow doubles to turn into triples all the time.

I didnt get to see much of this game, but what the hell is going on. Grenkie finally had a good showing at home and we forget how to drive in runs. This team is so frustrating.

I was okay with it. Hale knows the bullpen isn't going to be reliable going deep into extra innings so once again he hoped to end the game quickly. With his offense, it's not generally a bad approach, but sometimes it doesn't work and you end up having over half of your starting rotation batting by the 12th inning and Shelby Miller playing LF.

So we start May 1st, 2 games under .500 but 1/2 game out of first?? Kinda like starting out new, except we just had a pretty tough schedule in April. Could have been a lot worse with no one running away with the division.

Easily shaping up to be the worst trade in franchise history. The question in 3 years will be if its one of the worst trades in mlb history
