Remember, Kaepernick was benched in favor of Blaine Gabbert. And Gabbert has remained in the NFL ever since he was drafted.

Kaepernick had a brutal 2015. Kaep was injured and benched for Gabbert and then Gabbert was benched for Kaepernick in 2016. Gabbert has always been fool's gold. Gabbert did what he always does. He came in and looked decent for a couple of games. He sucks fans into thinking there could be something there. There were 49er fans thinking he could be resurrecting his career and even some ridiculous comparisons to Joe Montana. Then Gabbert did what he always does, implodes. Same thing happened in Arizona.
