Man, Miller is slimy in that overtly racist, power-hungry sort of way. Such a clear-cut Nazi, it's almost hard to believe he's real.

Watters, though. He's slimy in that opportunist sort of way. He'll latch onto any little culture war tidbit or in-group signifier, no matter how flimsy or pointless or--let's be honest--weird, if it means he can secure power for his benefactors and turn it into wealth for himself. (And he probably wants not just immunity from consequence for his worst impulses, but rewards for acting on them.)

He's so transparently a buffoon to anyone with any reason, but there are so, so many Watters-mold people out there that it still works, and that makes the country worse for all of us.
