He knows if he debates Harris he would look stupid. I really hope the democrats push this hard as a sign of weakness, in turn, will hurt his fragile ego pushing him into doing debate.


As for Vance it does nothing to move the needle on the party and would not attract any new voters. The had an inflated ego thinking they had the election in the bag. Now that Biden is out and the democrats were prepared (amazingly) they are scrambling.

Can someone tell me what I’m missing about Kamala’s debating skills that would make Trump fear her more than, say, Hillary Clinton? Especially in a format like the one he debated Biden in? Because half the time Kamala opens her mouth she sounds like dollar store Selina Meyer. Trump’s always gonna sound like Trump. The only person with something to lose in a debate IMO is her.

A huge difference between her and Hillary is that she has and ounce of charisma and the preparation to deal with Trump. And unlike Hillary there is a lot more experience on what Trump will say, and she is quick-witted enough to have the proper responses. Clinton wasn't afforded those opportunities because in 2016 not many people knew what to expect with Trump. Now it is way too obvious.

Biden had zero capabilities to do that in this first debate. If you look in 2020 Biden still had his faculties enough to have a proper response, and it showed how inept Trump really was.
