I know, it would be more surprising if they didn't come out and blame the vaccine, but still.

I cannot describe how unreal it is that this is a sitting member of Congress.

I always love the "Did anybody ever hear of this" line as well - That's code for I just learned about this.

Protestors are flying Hamas and Al Qaeda flags in massive rallies in major cities in North America and Europe, people are going around ripping down posters of those kidnapped in the attacks and shit like this is probably more common than we think at the moment on university campuses.

It might already be too late for this but we need to start having some conversations about how this ever became even kind of acceptable here.

"We did our part. We didn't let him buy this deadly accessory. What do you mean, did we alert authorities? What do you mean would he have been able to buy if he didn't check the box? What do you mean what follow up do we do? TOO MANY QUESTIONS! STOP!"

Also:

"Hey, cops. My brother is probably gonna go on a rampage."
"Hide his gun"
"Okay, I'll do that maybe. Can you come check on him?
"We came by a few times but he didn't seem to be around, so we fucked off to Dunkin' You secured the guns, though right?"
"Uhhhh, yeah."

I think the most frustrating thing is that the vast majority of Americans (based on polling) want stronger background checks, limits on magazine capacities, red flag laws etc. Yet a tiny fraction of elected representatives just stand idly by as more and more Americans are needlessly gunned down. Is America that different from Australia that after Port Arthur happened Australia clamped down big time and gun violence has been drastically reduced?

The gun store owner stating they did their part. :L Ummm no you let him walk out the door and said ....eh fuck it with no consequences.

A bartender/bar that lets a noticeably drunk person leave can be held liable if they cause harm on their drive home but guns....who cares.

As for the police they just assumed he was a good guy with a gun.

Sure seems like a lot of these spree shooters are on the radar of law enforcement before they shoot everyone. Which is weird because when I'm on law enforcement's radar I get a speeding ticket but these guys apparently are forgotten about while the FBI goes and tries to infiltrate more mosques.

Australia didn't have the US' second amendment.

If we had a constitutional right to drive way too fast, no one would ever get a ticket. Wish the founding fathers had predicted turbo charged Quattro cars.

US also used to have something called slavery, but they did away with that.
And all that took was 600,000 dead Americans. How many to pry the guns outta Jim Bob and Cooter's hands?

Given the ways lawyers bend and crease the constitution down there I'm sure there's a hole somewhere where we could ban speed limits. I for one am all for it - why shouldn't I be able to go 90 in a school zone?

I'm not even looking to do away with the 2nd amendment, but nobody needs an AR-15 assault rifle. You certainly don't need it for hunting and you certainly don't need it for home protection.
