Naw I just assumed he would wanna go somewhere else where the chance of winning will be “higher” like New England or something.

When veteran players get one-year deals usually they’re gone after that one year.

I think NEs chances at a SB are vastly deteriorating.

Yes but you get my point tho lol Now that the future is bright and Garrett is gone it’ll give Cobb an incentive to give Dallas one more shot. I don’t think he stays if Garrett is still the coach or someone like Marvin Lewis was hired.

If nolan hired I am going to give him a chance. I am not sure that he really ever had a defense loaded with talent in the past. He did coach the ravens defense, but those guys were getting older by the time he got there.

I agree. I think the dynasty is over.. they fell apart down the stretch. The Cowboys likely beat them if our special teams did not suck so bad. Mccarthy certainly would not put up with the bad special teams we just witnessed. He is not going to be standing there clapping like an idiot

I think cobb liked playing in dallas. I hope he returns. Even with cowboys being top 5 in yards I think changes need to be made to scheme. We need way less shotgun and more of dak behind center, so we can use more play action and roll dak out.

Cobb will be 29 years old by next season. He's still a young player.

Cowboys gave the Giants permission to talk to Garrett. I guess that answers my question.

Rodgers said McCarthy was the dumbest coach he's ever had. Would frequently have the Packers in the wrong sets and plays rarely worked in practice. Rodgers bailed him out for years. This dude sucks. I rather we had kept Garrett. But as usual, I'm gonna defend the flag and hope for the best anyway.
Rodgers is a egotistical prick who holds grudges over everything and never lets them go. He may be a great QB, but he's a dickhead in real life.

Unless he wants to stay unemployed this season I would take it. But the best choice for him imo would be to sit out this season go the McCarthy route and see where you went wrong in your methods, get back next year and kick ass in interviews.

I hope he takes it. We won't have to worry about stopping them in the red zone. They will need a good field goal kicker.

If he goes to NY and Dallas keeps Richard as rumors suggest is possible we better be able to stop em. Week one we have our ANNUAL NY opener and NY scores 17 or more Richard should be fired on the spot.

I hated the McCarthy hiring when I first heard about it. But everything I've been reading about him focusing more on analytics and trying to reinvent himself does get me excited. But what sold me the most was the hiring of John Fassel just now. Seemed like Garrett never gave a damn about Special Teams outside the kicker position. McCarthy on Day 1 already showing he gives a damn about ST. Gonna be interesting to see Dak, Amari, Gallup, and Zeke in the West Coast offense. Hope we find a big play TE. Maybe we already have one with Jarwin.
