Thanks, I guess the title to me became synonymous with Coaching Openings because of the content in the thread and there was talk about KC, Jets, Arizona, and Philadelphia for Alex as well as Jacksonville for Roman - who if he doesn't want Tebow could bring in Smith.

There are now 3 John Carroll alums running NFL personnel departments: Dave Caldwell (Jax), Nick Caserio (NE) and Tom Telesco (SD). Not bad.

For those that are unaware, Greg Roman also went to John Carroll and was roommates with Dave Caldwell. It's cool to see all the sports people who've come from John Carroll:

Tom Arth - Former NFL player and HC at JC.

Nick Caserio - With the Patriots and has held NUMEROUS roles with them (personnel assistant, offensive coaching assistant, area scout, director of pro personnel, WRs coach, and currently the director of player personnel).

Enrqiue Ecker - Former NFL player.

London Fletcher - NFL player.

Josh McDaniels - OC with the Patriots.

Brian Polian - STs coach for Texas A&M

Chris Polian - Former VP and and general manage of the Colts. (Bill Polian's son).

Chuck Priefer - Spent time in college and the NFL in numerous coaching roles.

Greg Roman needs to stop making friends! (I know some people wouldn't mind him leaving, some even asking for it, but I would have said the same thing, perhaps more apropriately, for Gamble. I'd rather have Harbaugh fire Roman than let him leave to be a HC. One Roman could use what he knows against us depending on the team. And second, it'd be an affirmative choice by Harbaugh and I would therefore feel more confident about it. Keeping him is also an appropriate answer if Harbaugh wants.)
