Profootballtalk reports the Broncos are expected to fire coach Vance Joseph at season's end.

There's no question Joseph will be fired when the season ends. Not everything is his fault. Elway I'm looking @ you since he's responsible for the roster. For some odd reason though the vast majority of Broncos fans around here can't/won't blame Saint Elway for anything.

But the Broncos will have back to back losing seasons for the 1st time since '71-'72. So VJ's fate is sealed.

Maybe you should read the board more closely. A number of us are frustrated with Elway and his recent decisions, Vance Joseph coming back for a second (and in some of our cases, him getting a first) year as head coach.

The roster is pretty good; we have some weak spots at cb, lb'er, te and oline. I think Keenum is serviceable, but Vance has easily cost this team at least 2 games this year on piss poor coaching alone.

This team has underachieved, the DC has said it's not his job to motivate players, and the OC cant seem to understand that the running game sets up Case to be successful. Lets not even get into the offense he calls is the complete opposite of Keenum's strengths.

Oh well, at least Vance and his craptastic staff are gone. But if Elway whiffs on this next coach, or god forbid he traded the house for a questionable qb, his time would be limited.

Nope. Casey Kasem is hot garbage. He was servicable last year when he had a top ranked defense....and the luck flowed his way. He's another bad Elway decision.

Nope. When you don't play to someone's strengths much less the offense's strengths, you can' tell if the guy his garbage or not.

The only thing we know for sure is our coaching staff is hot garbage.

Okay I'll admit I didn't read any comments before I left mine. I was just giving my opinion on things. But too many Broncos fans here in Boulder wanna blame Joseph & nobody else.

Hopefully for all of BroncosNation Elway makes the correct coaching decision in the off season.

Not if Larry Fitzgerald has any say....and the rumour is that if Wilks is fired, Todd Bowles is the leading candidate.

I think there could be some shockers on this :

* Skins and Gruden part ways
* Carolina and Rivera split
* and not a shocker but that whole staff in Tampa Bay should've been gone in October!

Larry? Huh?

And Bowles will not happen.

I think Fitz came out fully supported his guy, saying the whole team has his back. Could be football-speak and that's it. Bowles would be terrible for Ariz....but NFLN guys were saying he's still considered a hot commodity for HC around the league.

Not sure what to make of Vance Joseph firing but its probably the right decision.

Broncos could stick with anyone this year but something is really wrong when maybe the worst team in the league opens up the game against you, in a must-win game, by beating you with passes up the middle for an entire half with almost no resistance and your D is supposed to be the strength of your team.

Getting rid of a coach in his 1st year is so lame especially when the team is rebuilding

Has anyone put Tomlin’s shit-feathered hat in this ring?

Long overdue but this is a formal application by yours truly.
