Profootballtalk reports the Broncos are expected to fire coach Vance Joseph at season's end.
Jerruh likes him a yes man and that is what he has.Jason Garret should have been fired years ago because for lack of a better word....he sucks. He is nothing more than a scapegoat for the Cowboys failures. Jerry Jones is the real reason for their problems. He is an attention whore that needs to get credit. During his entire ownership he has had 2 good coaches (Johnson, Parcells) and he forced them both out. The rest were nothing but yes men and not good enoug the be head coaches imo. Unless Jerry gives up control he will never get a good coach to take the job. Being the Cowboys coach does not carry the same luster it used to.

seriously, look at his qb, u traded a top wr, and could have used that third round pick on something valuable, elway kinda f'd up this roster and blame it on vanceYeah......dead man walking.

Not sure where I'd rank Ron Rivera, but I think he too is a prime candidate for dismissal after this season. And I doubt that Doug Marrone will be round in '19 as well, at least not as HC of the Jags. Not just because of the Week 1 results, but overall, who are your top 5 coaches on the hot seat??
Here are mine:
1. Hue Jackson
2. Jason Garrett
3. Marvin Lewis
4. Jay Gruden
5. Todd Bowles

yeah the grass isnt always greener, i jsut think he was tied a bit with a subpar rosterI can see how some would view it that way and Elway certainly has to take some of the responsibility for this year's results but injuries and mediocre at best QB play have been much bigger culprits. I live in Denver, so I'm immersed in all the pressers, media coverage, access to Dove Valley, etc. Vance Joseph has just been largely in over his head. With a better quarterback, I'm sure he would have had greater success but he's been pretty poor in game management. Most fans in Denver have been screaming "fire VJ" all season and that has come to a roar. What most of them don't think about is who is going to be his replacement/savior? Easier said than done.

sadly theres still talent there, offense needs some help. And i fear lindsay is coming way back to earth........I agree. Elway had a really strong 2018 draft but that doesn't make up for his last three drafts and not having a franchise quarterback.

but the d is still there, he needs to be accountable and get shit done

i agree 100% sans cincy theres a reason teams with stability doo well. but u also need a good GM. I personally dont think elway is oneMy biggest problem with firing Vance is and always has been the fact that a new HC would be Denver's 5th HC in the last 11 years and 3rd in the last 5 years. People expect a winning football team and yet fail to see how averaging a new HC every 2 years not to mention new Coordinators every year doesn't produce that. When you have no stable coaching consistency players see that and don't want to play for you without you having to overpay like crazy for them and then you're stuck with a bunch of high salary players and are limited in what else you can do.
Not to mention that fans and media were calling for Vance's head after his first year so as a coach A) why would you want to be apart of that culture and B) let's say this new HC leads the team to a 5-11 record(what Vance did last year), do you really wanna be sweating getting fired your first year without ever having proper time to build a team?
he may, dont get me wrong i really like him. I LOVED him in college. I just think theres gonna be a big regression, hopefully im wrongLindsay's had a couple of poor games but I would never count that kid out. Defenses stacked the box and put the game on Keenum's shoulders. I think he's going to be the Broncos seriously bright spot coming out of this season.
I think Marrone is definitely gone. I don't like Rivera and think he should be fired but I'm not sure what his relationship is like with the front office and ownership. They may cut him a break because of Cam's injury. I don't know. Not sure where I'd rank Ron Rivera, but I think he too is a prime candidate for dismissal after this season. And I doubt that Doug Marrone will be round in '19 as well, at least not as HC of the Jags.
