oh don't go saying Tom Coughlin. That is like the Giants calling card. Threaten Coughlins job then go out & win a superbowl! We are not falling for that this year :becky:

Schiano big time. Ryan has been on the hot seat for a while and Coughlin has still led that team to 2 superbowls.. can't forget that.

But Schiano has done nothing but ruin a decent rookie QB prospect since his arrival and blown games. Not to mention stupid decision (like diving for the QB on kneel downs).

There was actually some talk in PantherLand that Ron Rivera would get axed if we lost to NYGs today. So he may have bought himself some time. Our next 4 games are against AZ, Minn, StL, and Tampa. If we don't win at least 3 of these, we're not going to have a winning season (its SF, NE, and ATL right after that), and RR is going to be gone.

Jim Harbaugh just crashed the hot seat party.

That's probably an exaggeration, but the honeymoon is most certainly over and the realities of life just smacked Niner nation square in the face. And it's a pleasure to see.

I think if the Steelers lose tonight, Mike Tomlin is in deep shit, not that he deserves it.

Like I said, my goal is for Mike Tomlin to be fired in Pittsburgh and the Titans pick him up in the offseason.

You are on crack to think Coughlin is in the hot seat. Until the playoffs are out of reach for the Giants, I wont count them out.

The Giants may well enter rebuilding mode. There's no reason to keep a 67 year old as coach when you are 3 years away from contending. He might get let go, if for no other reason than nobody thinks Coughlin is going to grow with your incoming talent. It's not a firing as much as it is a practical decision to let him go.

Steelers never make quick decision on ousting a HC. Don't see Tomlin as being on a hot seat at all this year

Also, Jim Schwartz could definitely be on the hot seat without a playoff berth. Mike Munchak also looks good for the moment but he can'e feel safe.

Both good points. I'm surprised we forgot about Schwartzy. I also want him fired in Detroit so he can make his reunion with the Titans. If I'm the GM, I sign him to a lifetime contract.

Munch won't be considered for an extension without a playoff win so it's sort of redundant to even list him. He'll be on the hotseat if they win out. It's a simple case of win a playoff game or GTFO.

I really don't like Tomlin and hope you get your wish but only if Cowher comes back to Pittsburgh. It wont happen is the only problem.

Rex isn't already on the hot set; he's been there.
