I don't know who saw Griffin's post game presser but I was impressed. I did not hear the "we" of last year but instead hear "I." I was impressed. It is part of the maturity process I have been waiting to see.
Griffin did some good things. I expected a game plan with three step drops and quick passes to negate JJ Watt. The man is a beast and can make most lineman look bad. Griffin executed well completing all but two passes. Gruden said that is what the D gave them. In the 2nd half they completed a few nice seam routes. Yeah the kid is still learning but I saw some bright spots from him.
No doubt we don't have the best line but Robert can help them, that is part of his learning process. j_y correctly pointed out in another thread that Robert moved right into the sack that Watt was credited with. He'll learn from this. It is not all doom and gloom. STs and TOs were our downfall.
