gross. I might have to actually root for Oregon this game

i won't argue this. but I have met Lane Kiffin personally, and his LB coach (forget his name) but i'll be damned he was very nice and surprisingly humble.

ACC - I think this is a hard one. I would say Frank Beamer is the front runner right now. Dave Swinney and Paul Johnson are just behind him.

Big East - I would say Greg Schiano is the front runner right now. It's no surprise that Cincy and WVU are towards the top of the conference. I don't think anybody was expecting Rutgers to be.

Big Ten - I agree with the OP. Joe Pa was the front runner. Now it is wide open between the coaches he listed. I think Brady Hoke would be on my list because he has done more with little IMO.

Big 12 - I think Bill Snyder is the front runner. He hasn't been getting that top recruiting class. He doesn't really have anybody that can be mentioned on the Heisman list, and yet they still can be 2nd in the conference.

C-USA - Either Larry Fedora or Kevin Sumlin. IMO, Fedora should be the front runner because everyone expected Houston to do what they are doing.

MAC - I would go with Dave Doerin. As a 1st year coach leading this team to the top of the West division. Frank Solich is right behind him in the running.

MWC - Dave Christensen. No surprise to see BSU and TCU on top of the conference. Who expected Wyoming to be in the mix?

Pac 12 - There's really no surprising team that is doing very good in this conference. Teams you expected to be good are doing good. I would have Chip Kelly as the front runner. Can't rule out Lane Kiffen either. USC might have started with a close one to Minnesota, but USC has played very well.

SEC - I think Les Miles is the clear front runner. LSU has had a very tough schedule and has won all of them.

Sun Belt - No brainer. Hugh Freeze. 1 year coach and dominating the conference.

WAC - I am going with Sunny Dykes as the front runner. Who would have thought that LTU would be competing for the conference this weekend. Of course, you cannot rule out Chris Ault.
