Gimme a break -> he got a speeding ticket. You make it sound like he's Aaron Hernandez (former Florida Gator, I'd like to point out) or something. I've done 100+ on that same highway on multiple occasions myself.

What are you talking about? So my equating his behavior before the draft and not being able to wait to act like a moron until AFTER the draft.. to a murderer? Not sure I am argue with that lack of logic...

No intelligent team is worried about speeding.

He is safer at 150 in that car than at 80 in a beater. There is very little physical risk.

You're the same guy that is against drunk driving right?

So Paul Walker in a Porsche at 90... loses control and dead. But that Chrysler 300... anyway.

My point is, why take unnecessary risk when you are destined for millions... even if you break your legs and don't die... not worth it.

Example: I raced 600 and 1000cc bikes in my 20's... had a friend that was much better than I was... was at Daytona for a race one day... had a malfunction and his chain broke and somehow stopped the wheel. He died in front of his wife and child going 60 mph.

Blown tires happen at that speed... and a Chrysler 300 isn't a race car... no where close. You blow a tire at that speed, hit some antifreeze the wrong way, a deer runs out, etc.. it can kill you easily.

Again, my only point is why take the risk given his position?

Apparently a Chrysler 300 ... yes. The US Military should drop the Humvees and go for the 300 based on the comments on these boards.

I would rather go to Texas than Jax... at least Texas has times when they look good over the last decade. Jax just plain sucks...

Yeah?

There are plenty of people who can drive well past the speed limit with little risk.

There is no one who can drive well past the legal limit with little risk.

You're talking about reaction speed. If this was at night, perception of speed is further diminished and is a bad deal either way. 110 is 'I dont care about my life' fast

No way I'd do that, but I get your point. Buddy of mind got pulled in FLA after being clocked at 150 mph on a rice rocket. When I was younger, I took a driveaway (Caddillac) from CA (Irvine) to Nashville. I was screaming that bitch through the AZ desert, and went like 130+. Got pulled eventually at about 80.

110 on a straightaway isn't fast in the slightest. Calling it "I don't care about my life fast" when all we know is that he was in a car that can easily handle that is laughable.

I know some exceptional drivers, however it doesnt matter how good a driver you are if the other guy driving on the same highway sucks. --- I went over 67,000 miles last year and most of that was on the roadway. You drive that much and you cant help but notice that most people suck.

Derrick Thomas

A snowstorm, weaving around cars, and no seatbelt, and he still survived the accident for roughly a month.
