No. Didn't we think he was on the downside of his career when we let him go? He's gonna be 35 next season, and he lost his starting job in Jacksonville. It's gonna cost us too much for a guy who will be behind Michael Bennett, Cliff Avril, Frank Clark and Cassius Marsh.
I think he's probably gonna get a physical with Seattle and they might consider using him as a rotational guy backing up ... If we did sign him, it would be for super cheap and most likely a 1 year deal ...
It would have to be a one year deal if the Hawks want to keep his cap hit around $600,000 (though his actual salary would be around $1 million).
Yeah, definitely not a splash but a familiar face anyway... He was really good for us in 2013 ... His best is behind him though, but I"m sure if he play's in a very limited roll he might still have a little pass rush left in him... I think were gonna turn to the draft to replace Irvin ...
