I am going to show you every instance of a WR, not named TM, achieving 50 yards receiving on the WFT the 2020 season.

Cam Sims- 3 receptions for 63 yards against CAR
5 receptions for 92 yards against PITT
4 receptions for 54 yards against DET
3 receptions for 110 yards against NYG

Steven Sims- 4 receptions for 52 yards against CAR
3 receptions for 53 yards against ARI
3 receptions for 50 yards against PHI

Isaiah Wright- 6 receptions for 59 yards against DET



In 2019, here is every instance:

Steve Sims- 5 receptions for 81 yards against DAL
6 receptions for 64 yards against NYG

Kelvin Harmon- 5 receptions for 58 against NYG
3 receptions for 51 yards against CAR
5 receptions for 53 yards against NYJ

Paul Richardson- 8 receptions for 83 yards against CHI


So in summary, you want to cut the guy with the most 50+ yard games over the last two seasons in Steve Sims. You also want to cut the guy with he most 50+ yard games in a season, all of which have come over the last 7 games, in Cam Sims.

From there, you want to replace Cam Sims, the guy with four 50 yard games over the last 7 games, with AGG who has exactly 1 catch for 22 yards in the six games he has appeared. And you want to replace the guy with a 6.4 average with a guy that has a 3.8 average because Steven Sims muffed the first punt in NFL history, apparently.

The stats dont matter, Cam Sims always has big drops in key situations. Sunday was awful. You can get any WR to do what C. Simss has done. Same with S. Sims. Why isnt he replaceable? AGG was a 4th round pick and has been hurt all year they are not giving up on him. My prediction is that you wont see both Sims on the 2021 roster. The only reason why they are playing is b/c of injuries and we have the worst WR depth in the league.

Does AGG have a ton of potential? I like him as well, but what exactly has he shown? You do know he appear3d in 6 games right?

Define too much money. Why do we need a veteran WR? Do we need a veteran that gives us 700 yards receiving while making 10 mil per season over a second year guy getting 600 yards for 600k? Do we need a veteran if we had TM, CD Lamb, Brandon Aiyuk, and DK Metcalf? I don’t think so. I hate stupid blanket statements like we need a veteran.

What makes you believe Hilton will ever be more than a 700 yard guy again? If he isn’t more than that, he is not better than what we have.

Agg was hurt all year. Why are you judging him from this year? Yes a veteran WR knows how to get open in key situations of the game. A healthy T.Y. Hilton with his talent is a 1000yard WR. T.Y. Hilton is not better than what we have? LOL!!!!

I think every player is replaceable if they can be placed by somebody else that is better. (Exception is age and growth. Sometimes the better old guy on his last year shouldn’t be there over a young potential in a non-playoff year.)

A good GM should always be looking in the draft or free agency or trade for someone available and the coach should have insight on who he currently has that could replace but never just cut unless it’s clear that it’s better for the team. I don’t think Washington has those players to replace the Sims. The OC could call plays to who he trusts in certain situations.

dont conflate giving up on a guy with "he hasnt proven it yet ". you know what boths sims cost ? next to nothing and these 2 UDRFA's have given us good production at little cost . sure sims dropped some big passes but he made some big plays too . for awhile there people talked about him being a WR2 because of his plays . young guys sometimes drop balls in key situations when they are young and get better after the experience

also why forget about harmon ? he is a low cost 6th round pick whom played well as a rookie

I think this team needs an established vet WR. Hilton will not be super expensive. Both Sims were god awful in a must win game that should tell you something. Chace and the Bama guys are the top 3 Wr's in the draft. If we win Sunday there is no way we will get them. If we lose its a different story.

i think you need to research more on draft picks . waddle could be there at 19/20 and there is a hole sr bowl roster of WRS who can make impacts . i say save our cap , sign our guys , and maybe make a run at a QB in FA

Antonio Gandy-Golden - On a team so desperate for ANYONE to step up on the outside, Gandy-Golden has done ZILCH! Hell, the guy has more drops than he does receptions! I understand he just returned from injury - but that does not excuse him from the sloppy routes, drops and poor blocking attempts.

AGG is going to have time to develop b/c of his draft status. I dont see the big deal in the Sims boys. You cant have all the guys you want in camp but im predicting the Sims boys dont make the team next year.

No the Seattle game he was awful too. He has no speed and bad hands. He is just a big WR. Shouldnt be top 3 or 4 WR's next year.

i am pretty sure i saw sims have a 100 yard game and make key catches in several games and again THIS IS HIS FIRST EXTENED ACTION
