I dont think either Sims are worth cutting right now for numerous reasons:

first of all, Steven Sims was a pretty good wr last year. He eas super-shifty out of the slot, and put up decent stats on a terrible team.

Yes, the miffed punt was absolutely awful, and he hasnt done anything this year, but he also doesnt cost much as he was undrafted.

Cam Sims has worked his way up from practice squad fodder to starting wr. He has the most yards and catches as a wr other than terry mac. You dont cut your #2 wr even if he isnt awesomr without somebody to replace him.

After finding one in free agency, or drafting one and then seeing how training camp shakes out - those are the times to make a move.

Cam Simms has been awful the last two games. Yesterday he blew two HUGE catches. I rather see AGG, Wright, and Foster out there rather then both Sims. 2021 Wr's Should Be Tmac, T.y Hilton, Harmon, Agg, and Wright.

I get how you’d want to see more of Isaiah Wright, who has looked ok in flashes.

As for next year, clearly an upgrade is needed. Is TY Hilton really who you would target? He’ll be 32 years old, and his stats arent any better than what we already have. He has roughly the same stats as Cam Sims does now with a legit qb and a better supporting cast. I say pass on TY Hilton.

No need to cut anyone until next TC . Cam sims has come a long way .he has potential as a 5/6 wr . Clifford Franklin is just in yr 2 and he took a step back . I like Wright and I like Harmon . I like AGG

Favorite play of the game: Haskin's running on the field to slap 5 and give encouragement to the Hineyman. He showed leadership just as he was watching the proof that he sucks.

Start next year with Allen and Heinyman and a draft choice of their choosing. Keep Smith for experience. I still believe they need a QB.

b/c they have no future with the team and are causing this team to lose. C. Sims blew two huge catches that would of set us up for Td's. S. Sims actually gave them a TD. Haskins just proved he doesn't belong going against a bad defense and still struggling. You have Smith\Henike for Qb and Agg for Cam Sims and Wright to take punts instead of C. Sims to end the year.

I am going to show you every instance of a WR, not named TM, achieving 50 yards receiving on the WFT the 2020 season.

Cam Sims- 3 receptions for 63 yards against CAR
5 receptions for 92 yards against PITT
4 receptions for 54 yards against DET
3 receptions for 110 yards against NYG

Steven Sims- 4 receptions for 52 yards against CAR
3 receptions for 53 yards against ARI
3 receptions for 50 yards against PHI

Isaiah Wright- 6 receptions for 59 yards against DET



In 2019, here is every instance:

Steve Sims- 5 receptions for 81 yards against DAL
6 receptions for 64 yards against NYG

Kelvin Harmon- 5 receptions for 58 against NYG

So in summary, you want to cut the guy with the most 50+ yard games over the last two seasons in Steve Sims. You also want to cut the guy with he most 50+ yard games in a season, all of which have come over the last 7 games, in Cam Sims.

From there, you want to replace Cam Sims, the guy with four 50 yard games over the last 7 games, with AGG who has exactly 1 catch for 22 yards in the six games he has appeared. And you want to replace the guy with a 6.4 average with a guy that has a 3.8 average because Steven Sims muffed the first punt in NFL history, apparently.

Does AGG have a ton of potential? I like him as well, but what exactly has he shown? You do know he appear3d in 6 games right?

Define too much money. Why do we need a veteran WR? Do we need a veteran that gives us 700 yards receiving while making 10 mil per season over a second year guy getting 600 yards for 600k? Do we need a veteran if we had TM, CD Lamb, Brandon Aiyuk, and DK Metcalf? I don’t think so. I hate stupid blanket statements like we need a veteran.

What makes you believe Hilton will ever be more than a 700 yard guy again? If he isn’t more than that, he is not better than what we have.

Likely. With Chase trying to get thru DHs knucklehead that being a good teammate is more than he’s been showing. That said, DH has to be tone deaf to trot out after him, given his behavior this year.
